This practical degree opens doors to a wide variety of careers and can serve as the first step in your training to become a qualified psychologist.
You will explore the breadth of human experience and learn how to understand and predict behavioural patterns. Practical workshops will enable you to put evidence-based knowledge into practice and develop skills in research, analysis, reasoning and critical thinking.
You’ll cover all areas of psychology from biological and cognitive psychology, lifespan development, social psychology, historical issues and research methods. You’ll have access to our dedicated laboratory with specialist equipment for eye-tracking and recording psycho-physiological measures such as brain activity and heart rate.
The degree is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Upon successful completion, you will be able to obtain a Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), which is an essential requirement if you wish to qualify as a professional psychology. Psychology is a highly versatile degree that will equip you with the transferable skills to work in fields as diverse as health, education, social services, advertising, marketing and human resources.
