About Course

  • 1 Year
  • Full-time

  • This graduate degree in contemporary art prepares students for a career in the modern art market. They gain insight into the evolving demands of the international art market in a global context: the economics and structure of the markets, expertise of art objects, and arts management. Core courses in finance, management techniques, omni-channel marketing and communication, expertise and knowledge of art law and regulations provide students with a successful skill set to enter the international modern art market.

Based in the heart of Paris, on the premises of IESA International, students are within close proximity to all the major Parisian museums, auction houses and  galleries. Class visits to the most prominent museums, galleries, and auction houses are organized to allow students to connect with curators, art historians, and gallerists. Thus students can witness first-hand how to sell arts and art dealing in general. For those looking to set up their own businesses, they will also get insights into how to open an art gallery and how to become art brokers.

Study trips to art centers in France are also organized during each trimester to allow students to network with seasoned professionals in the art sector.

This degree is Recognized by the French State (RNCP) at Level 1.
