Through your own market research, you will learn how to assess data, identify emerging trends and create directional trend materials. Practical application is a core focus on this pathway. You will conduct your own fashion shoot, creating styles that demonstrate your understanding of current fashion markets and trends.
You will also have the opportunity to create your own fashion film as a promotional tactic. This practical exercise will help you understand how different techniques and commercial applications can enhance brand awareness and strengthen a brand’s unique personality. You’ll also be introduced to the history of fashion, looking at historical items of clothing and fashion imagery on display in museums and online.
