• Please note this is for entry into the third year of the BA (Hons) Global Management (Finance) degree.

  This degree is designed for students who already have an existing qualification in a business-related discipline and want to build upon their skills and knowledge in a specialist area of business and management.  

  You will join the final year of this degree, focusing your studies on your chosen pathway. This flexible structure enables you to develop specialist skills in finance, as well as build upon the general business knowledge that you gained from your prior qualifications.  

  The Finance Pathway

  Finance plays a fundamental role in every organisation – whether it’s a global brand or a new start-up. This pathway offers a holistic insight into financial management and fintech – developing your skills as a financer while giving you the confidence to manage teams internationally. 

  Explore the financial parameters of business planning, learning core competencies like analytics, economics, politics, law, global banking and strategic management, while examining the structure of financial corporations and how they function – gaining a thorough understanding of how financial intermediaries and institutions work hand-in-hand with businesses, both big and small. 

  You’ll also have the opportunity to explore alternative approaches to finance, other than the current Western standards, and consider the influence and impact of emerging financial technologies – developing your ability to innovate and manage change, globally. 

  Practical, experience-based simulations and challenges with industry experts will expose you to real-world business issues and give you the strategic skills to combat them. 

  You’ll have the option to undertake an independent placement or enterprise project to gain further industry experience, or you can study abroad for a term at one of Regent’s international partners to broaden your understanding of management and enterprise in a global context. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn a new language – preparing you to work in an international arena.
