Connecting the Dots - Talk with Rosella Vaccaro


Rosella joins a conversation with Caterina Lunghi, journalist and teacher, to discuss Rosella’s journey from the beginning to her achievements.

Rosella is from Italy and graduated from UAL, University of the Arts of London and in 2012 she has attended her Master’s in Fashion Management at Domus Academy.

Rosella Vaccaro is currently working as a Head of Production and Buying for Bamford in London, alongside the Managing Director to define the strategic direction for Range.

She produce seasonal Range Plans for the woven, knitwear, textile, accessories, swimwear, jewelry and homeware categories to ensure that commercial, yet profitable products are developed and bought in order to achieve the company’s sales target. Rosella is specialised in reusing materials, integrating recycled and regenerated options into the product offerings.

During her professional path, she led the stakeholders into the sustainable transformation, from designers to supply chain, bringing the company to be awarded with the Butterfly Mark by Positive Luxury, a recognition for the company as part of a community of likeminded businesses collectively seeking to transform the industry through sustainable and ethical practices.

Before working for Bamford, she has worked as a Product Specialist, Retail Buyer and Fashion Designer. During her professional path she has crossed many important brands as: Cartier, Issey Miyake, Calvin Klein, Maison Martin Margiela, Colmar, Saint Angelo (Baoxiniao Group).
