  • This combined degree will teach you how to create innovative designs based on market research, consumer needs and commercial environments. 

    You will gain an understanding of global issues, changing trends and emerging markets, as well as fashion promotion and communication. 

    Alongside key marketing theories, you will learn a range of digital and traditional design and marketing techniques.

    Practical workshops are underpinned by marketing theory. You will develop a unique design philosophy based on in-depth market research and analysis. You will learn to create fashion designs that incorporate the needs of your target audience, and engage with the ethical, cultural and environmental issues impacting the wider fashion industry. 

    There are plenty of opportunities to participate in live projects, including our annual fashion show. This is your chance to present your work on a catwalk with professional models, photographers and fashion show directors. 

    In your final year, you will develop a collection of outfits, together with a marketing campaign, which you will present at the Graduate Fashion Show. 

    This degree will develop you as a fashion innovator who has the design skills and marketing know-how to succeed in this fast-paced industry. 

    This programme equips you with the skills, knowledge and experience to confidently move into a career within the fashion and marketing sectors. Possible job roles include:
