This degree aims to prepare you for a professional and creative career as an interior designer. Our holistic approach to interior design will enable you to develop your own unique design philosophy.
You’ll be introduced to a broad range of design methods and principles, including digital technologies and professional standards. Approaching a range of public and private spaces, you will consider design ideas from a variety of perspectives including history, architecture, social and environment impact as well as purpose.
Model-making is a core element of this degree. You’ll create models of your design ideas using our specialist facilities and document the end product in our photography studio. Professional practice modules will give you opportunities to work on live projects with real clients. You’ll be expected to consider all aspects of the design process from creative development to commercial and financial factors.
When you graduate, you’ll have a diverse portfolio of work that you can showcase to potential clients and employers. This bespoke training will prepare you for a creative career across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, exhibition and installation and places of leisure and culture.
