About Course

  • 1 Year
  • Full-time

  • Please note this is for entry into the third year of the BA (Hons) Global Management (Enterprise & Innovation) degree.

This degree is designed for students who already have an existing qualification in a business-related discipline and want to build upon their skills and knowledge in a specialist area of business and management.

You will join the final year of this degree, focusing your studies on your chosen pathway. This flexible structure enables you to develop specialist skills in enterprise and innovation, as well as build upon the general business knowledge that you gained from your prior qualifications.

    The Enterprise & Innovation Pathway

Many businesses rely on enterprise and innovation to manage uncertainty and ensure sustained growth. This pathway will teach you to become an innovative leader and entrepreneur – with the insight to identify new opportunities, implement new processes, harness new technology and transform global businesses into market leaders.

You’ll develop the entrepreneurial skills needed to launch social enterprises and drive sustained business growth – undertaking market research, managing uncertainty, making strategic decisions, examining the role of mobile technology, generating new ideas and overcoming challenges in a range of ventures, from new start-ups to established businesses.

You’ll gain a solid grounding in management principles and a deep understanding of how modern enterprises thrive – learning core competencies like finance, economics and strategic management, while developing your specialist knowledge, creative thinking and ability to innovate, globally.

Practical, experience-based simulations and challenges with industry experts will expose you to real-world business issues and give you the strategic skills to combat them.

You’ll have the option to undertake an independent placement or enterprise project to gain further industry experience, or you can study abroad for a term at one of Regent’s international partners to broaden your understanding of management and enterprise in a global context. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn a new language – preparing you to work in an international arena.

Your career options are varied, and include:

    • Junior management positions in fields including commerce, manufacturing, IT and finance
    • Starting your own business
    • Advising and consulting
    • Diversifying a family business
    • Leading Innovation Teams within companies
    • Running an effective social enterprise
    • Managing and modernising public sector departments
