    “Learning by doing”, learning by doing, has always been the distinctive feature of the Arsutoria School teaching methodology.

    Now reorganized in a way that guarantees safety for students, technicians and teachers.

    The course is aimed at the production of men’s and women’s footwear. The student will have the opportunity to meet the best master shoemakers, get valuable tips and learn all the secrets of producing a décolleté and a derby.

    Students will have access to two footwear workshops where they can experiment with the construction techniques learned.

    During the Introduction to Shoe Making course you will learn to:

    • make a pair of men’s shoes (derby) and one women’s shoes (décolleté).
    • recognize and perform the operations of sewing the upper, assembling the upper and lining on the last, gluing the bottom, preparing the heel and sole up to the finishing of the shoe.
    • recognize and use the machinery commonly used in the footwear industry.
    • manually perform the craft activities that distinguish the quality of Made in Italy.
