“….Our civilization like a starship sent into space, travels towards a not-doing society, a society of being where the value of ideas and creativity in thinking prevail on action. The next psychological revolution will produce the shift to a more evolved economy, more subtle and intelligent, to a more efficient, idealistic and concrete capitalism, at the service of life on earth and of the evolution of man.
In this economy individuals inspired by an “ethical objectiveness” will emerge, cells of a new humanity, capable of nurturing the dream of a global economy and of a politics of a planetary responsibility, people aware that individual, personal improvement is the basis for every progress made in society. ..”

“The economics to come – industries and corporate enterprises should teach the Art of Dreaming – the principles of self-improvement and inner integrity to enable their people, managers and employees, to become advanced beings. The world of business has to realize that real, financial expansion comes out of quality, and declines rapidly when quality is missing.”From “Business as a School of Being”, by Elio D’Anna, Founder and President European School of Economics
In ancient times, a city was measured by the distance a common voice could carry, and there the walls would be built. With the onslaught of technology, civilisation finds itself on the brink of yet another Age, and while men scramble for a place in the panorama of a workplace that is no longer confined to one city or even one nation, the need for advance and improved forms of communication becomes vital.
We strongly believe that the sustenance of an enterprise lies not only in the workings of its systems -these relying among other things on smooth internal and external communication, but in the propagation and expansion of its values and integrity. In today’s ever-expanding multi-national market, it is only with the support of rigorous communication structures and practices that an enterprise, can expect to not only sustain itself, but grow and flourish.

The programme emphasizes practice (based on theory) which is underpinned through live industry projects and engages students through practice-based assessment tasks – students should be fully functional in the financing, marketing and distribution areas of the industry upon graduation.

ESE has been providing hospitality training at the highest levels for three decades. Our President and Founder’s first commercial enterprise, a Luxury Hotel and Restaurant- Il Bottaccio (bottaccio.com) became a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux chain only three years after its creation – a feat unheard of in the Hospitality Industry. In its thirty-three years of activity, Il Bottaccio also boasts three red forks in the Michelin Guide and a history of illustrious guests from the worlds of film, music and politics. The Bottaccio project later expanded to London to include the management of luxury events. Bottaccio London is now preparing its next two centers for opening : one in King’s Cross, opposite the St. Pancras station, and the other at 22 Bishop’s Gate – the highest viewing deck in Europe.
As the world moves towards a ‘not-doing’ society, in which people value the practice of making and taking time to dedicate to themselves, the worlds of luxury hospitality and events are growing exponentially more important, and potentially also more profitable. The UK events industry alone is worth £42 billion and inbound business visits to Britain equate to 23.5% of all visits. Along with a predicted shortfall of personnel in the industry, especially at management level, this course will provide students with the skills and knowledge to find employment or start their own business and thrive.
The ESE Master of Science in Luxury Hospitality and Events programme aims to provide a luminous pathway addressing numerous scenarios for students who have studied undergraduate degrees and would like to either deepen their knowledge or change expertise to the areas of luxury hospitality and events management.
In addition to comprehensive curriculum, a variety of activities and specialised workshops are available on a campus-by-campus basis, from gastronomy, menu planning and cooking, to wedding planning, flower arranging and cake decorating, to sound systems, silver service, and photography in order to complete students’ personal talent portfolio.

With all its lights and shadows, the film industry remains one of the strongest sectors worldwide, and it is arguably the most influential. Not only by means of its complex ramifications, but also because of something much more important: it has a direct effect upon the consciousness of people; that is, on the way they feel, think and dream.
The film industry employs all sorts of professionals. No other sector includes such a variety of personal profiles: from scientists to athletes, from persons who work in isolation to the most social and talkative ones, from artists to business people. You only have to read the credits of some movies to get proof.
Along the course, you will learn the fundaments of filmmaking and will accomplish a solid foundation upon which you may grow in any direction. Once there, the course will help you choose your area of interest and will provide you with the proper tools to specialize. But, most important, this course is about who you are, what you truly want and how to achieve it. In short, it is about creating, facing and fulfilling your dream. Because, both, the film industry and yourself can be rightly seen as that: factories of dreams. And this course is about helping these factories work for good.

The purpose of this course is to provide you with a basic understanding of foreign affairs and introduce you to the fundamental principles of international relations within the political science framework.
These principles will serve as the foundation for more advanced study in the International Relations field and will help you not only develop the critical thinking skills you need in order to analyze conflicts between states but the human relations skills you need to proactively avoid them.
The difference between international relations and global diplomacy is that while traditional international relations is a study from afar, diplomacy will prepare you to actively pursue solutions that will serve to ensure and project a world where unity and security prevail. Diplomacy, in its purest form is not the art of prevailing over one’s rivals to make change, but the orchestration of perfection of communication skills to build understanding and harmony in the world as it is.
